Colorado – Colorado’s Health Care Future issued the following statement in reaction to Governor Polis’ remarks at the Colorado’s Consumer Health Initiative’s Health Care Day of Action:

“We believe every Coloradan deserves access to quality, affordable coverage and care, and more can and should be done to make health care work for every family. But, a state government option would put politicians in control of Coloradans’ health care, hurt our economy, threaten jobs, and destabilize the employer-provided health coverage millions of Coloradans rely on. Let’s build on what’s working and fix what’s broken – not force Coloradans into a new government-controlled health insurance system.“
